  Divider Wall Issues for Caterpillar Turbos

  Shown below is a Caterpillar turbine housing cut perpendicular to the turbine shaft to reveal the entire divider wall. While turbine housing divider walls in many turbos will crack slightly, turbochargers on the 550 h.p. Caterpillar brand turbochargers suffer from extreme cracking as shown and can lead to complete turbocharger failure.
